The Lost Towns Project hosts Lab Days, lectures, and workshops for the public on the weekends! We host activities for a variety of ages, including family-friendly activities, and this page will be updated as we add activities throughout the year. We also host volunteers and interns. The Annual Tyler Bastien Field Sessions
May 24-June 3, 2013

Biggs Ford, Frederick County, Maryland
June 14-24, 2013
St. Francis Xavier Cemetary, St. Mary's County, Maryland

The Maryland Historical Trust and the Archeological Society of Maryland are holding two field sessions this year. One session, at the Bigg's Ford site in Frederick County, will feature work on a prehistoric site that may contain many different components. The second session, at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetary in St. Mary's County, will involve work on a colonial church and cemetary site.

Eastern States Archaeological Federation
80th Annual Meeting

The Eastern States Archeological Federation (ESAF) is an organization of state archeological societies representing much of the Eastern United States and Canada. ESAF was organized in 1933/34 to provide a forum for the exchange of archeological information among archeologists and state archeological societies.
